BruntWork is seeking a State Payor Credentialing Representative to own provider enrollment for highly complex states, ensuring accurate and compliant submissions for both commercial and government payors. The role acts as the subject matter expert on credentialing in assigned states and drives timely approvals.

This is a remote Independent Contractor role with ownership of enrollment activities from start to finish, collaborating with clients, account teams, and leadership to maintain quality

Qualifications

• Two years college minimum
• Experience in US-based medical billing or credentialing
• Experience in medical practice billing including credentialing and reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Lead submission of provider enrollment for assigned states with complex regulations or high provider volume.
• Serve as the primary SME for credentialing and enrollment requirements in assigned state(s).
• Maintain current knowledge of in-network and out-of-network enrollment processes.
• Partner with Account Coordinators to validate provider data and documentation before enrollment.
• Establish relationships with payor representatives to ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.
• Prepare and submit provider enrollment documentation through portals and mailed submissions.
• Track application status and perform proactive followups to drive timely approvals.
• Manage re-credentialing submissions and communicate upcoming client requirements to Account Management.
• Complete quarterly payor attestations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide daily status reports to Credentialing Coordinator and team.
