Job summary

Rockstar Global Careers is seeking an experienced Provider Credentialing Specialist to support U.S.-based healthcare practices on a full-time remote basis. The role covers credentialing from initial application through re-credentialing and payer follow-up, with attention to accuracy and timely progression.

You will manage credentialing workflows, CAQH profiles, NPI/PECOS enrollments, and sanctions checks, while providing light billing support as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on provider credentialing experience required.
• Experience managing full credentialing workflows from application to re-credentialing.
• Strong knowledge of CAQH, NPI enrollment, and payer requirements.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer enrollment processes.
• Able to perform proactive follow-up with insurers.

Responsibilities

• Gather required documentation from new and existing providers to initiate credentialing.
• Prepare, complete, and submit credentialing applications for new providers across payers.
• Complete re-credentialing applications ahead of expiration deadlines.
• Submit and track NPI, PECOS, and Medicare/Medicaid enrollments as required.
• Manage multi-state credentialing and payer-specific enrollment requirements.
• Track active applications and update credentialing trackers.
