Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a Contracting Assistant in Provider Credentialing (Insurance) for a remote, full-time role with 35 paid hours per week or more. The position follows a fixed night-shift schedule aligned to New York time, with Manila hours.

The successful candidate will support the Account Manager in payer contracting, negotiations and contract administration. Candidates should have 2 years of US medical billing or provider credentialing experience, be permanently work-from-home, and ready

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with above-average organizational skills.
• Able to plan and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word.
• Thorough understanding of navigating the internet.

Responsibilities

• Learn and incorporate in all work and communications the principles and requirements of the company's Values, Uniques, Email Ettiquette, and other cultural standards designed to provide a friendly, productive work environment, and provide services to clients that are noticeably better than any other.
• Assist partner in setting up a process for payer contracts for each assigned client, including price negotiations, and ensuring the process is followed thoroughly and in a timely manner that results in speedy contract completion.
• Learn thoroughly about and develop professional, effective relationships with the payers with whom the client is contracting.
• Stay on top of all open contracts that are due for follow up.
• Stay on top of all completed contracts that require renewal or verification of payers current rates.
• Tackle any open contracts that are spinning and escape if needed.
• Address initial negotiation requests for open contracts.
• Handle all payer relations for contracting matters
• Handle all internal contracting matters
