Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a Provider Credentialing Specialist for telehealth services. You will manage credentialing, recredentialing, enrollment, and ongoing compliance with CMS, state, payer, and organizational requirements to ensure timely reimbursement.

This remote/hybrid role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience with CMS/Medicare and HIPAA is preferred; RN license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Need experience in provider credentialing and recredentialing.
• Experience with CMS/Medicare and payer enrollment processes.
• Healthcare, telehealth, or hospital setting experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in remote or hybrid environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements.
• RN background is a plus for clinical audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate initial and recredentialing for providers.
• Collect and verify credentialing documents.
• Perform primary source verification of licenses, board certifications, and education.
• Maintain credentialing files in CMS and organizational standards.
• Monitor expiration dates and renewals.
• Submit enrollment applications to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Manage CAQH profiles and attestations.
• Track enrollment status and resolve payer issues.
• Conduct sanction monitoring and ensure compliance.
• Maintain provider databases and generate reports.
• Support clinical audits and process improvements.
