Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to assist in the contracting and credentialing process for physicians and health practitioners. This remote-friendly role supports our national provider network.

We value detail-oriented, proactive teammates who can work with health plans, complete credentialing applications, track progress, and collaborate across departments to keep credentials current and compliant. Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and insurance companies is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of credentialing experience.
• Experience working with healthcare insurance companies.
• Ability to solve problems and identify solutions.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with a variety of health plans including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Complete credentialing applications and contracts with health plans.
• Work with physicians to complete required documentation.
• Diligently track progress of credentialing and contracting applications and communicate to leadership regularly.
• Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure business goals are met.
• Help to improve the provider licensing function as it continues to grow.
