Job summary

Restaurant Supply LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support growing accounting operations from a remote Philippines location. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant and internal teams to maintain accurate records, perform reconciliations, and assist with customer-related accounting activities.

The ideal candidate has AR background and solid US GAAP knowledge, with experience in invoice generation, credit memos, reconciliations, and customer transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1–3+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Accounts Receivable experience strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP.
• Practical understanding of invoice generation, credit memos, customer payments, and related AR processes.
• Basic knowledge of the US sales tax system, including exemptions.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Generate and process customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Process invoice adjustments, credit memos, refunds, and customer payments.
• Review and process customer sales tax exemption certificates via Shopify/NetSuite.
• Record customer payments and other bank activity.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries and support close activities.
• Reconcile marketplace payouts from Walmart, eBay, Home Depot, Amazon, Shopify, etc.
• Assist with AR activities and resolve customer account discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales and Purchasing to resolve invoicing and payment issues.
• Support Senior Accountant and AP on projects and ad-hoc tasks.
• Maintain records in compliance with US GAAP and deadlines.
