Job summary

At Atlassian, SMB Account Executives guide customers through their cloud journey, advocating for solutions that meet business goals. This remote role targets the SMB segment, collaborating with product and marketing teams to maximize adoption and revenue across a broad portfolio.

You will report to the Sales Manager within your region and engage in both inbound and outbound activities, building strong relationships and delivering compelling ROI stories to clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outbound sales experience in a quota‑carrying B2B software sales role.
• Proven track record of exceeding performance targets.
• Experience building and leading territory & strategic account plans.
• Familiar with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and prospecting tools.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Customer‑centric mindset and do‑it‑right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on qualified inbound leads and drive outbound prospecting to grow SMB pipeline.
• Qualify customer needs with a consultative approach and build strategic relationships.
• Demonstrate ROI of Atlassian products and help customers build business cases for adoption.
• Develop and execute territory account plans to meet or exceed quota and drive revenue.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity.
