Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist based in Mexico to own U.S. payroll operations. You will manage payroll processing, contractor payments, EOR payroll support, and related compliance in a fast-moving international org.

You will work with Finance, HR, Accounting, and payroll partners to ensure accurate, on-time pay. This hands-on role emphasizes controls, data accuracy, and year-end processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years of direct U.S. payroll administration.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll through Rippling.
• Strong experience managing multi-state U.S. payroll; CA/NY preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes, wage deductions, and final pay.
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Own regular and off-cycle U.S. payroll processing through Rippling.
• Validate payroll inputs: new hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, deductions.
• Administer contractor payments and EOR payroll support.
• Validate EOR payroll calculations and reconcile invoices.
• Manage multi-state payroll requirements and tax filings.
• Maintain payroll data in Rippling and troubleshoot configurations.
• Investigate discrepancies and drive resolution.
• Serve as primary payroll contact for employees.
