Job summary

Gabtech Global, LLC is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant for a remote, project-based engagement in the Philippines. The role covers day-to-day A/R, A/P, payroll, and GL activities, reporting to the Accounting Manager and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a CPA (preferred), 5+ years of accounting experience, and strong Excel skills. NetSuite experience strongly valued; US GAAP knowledge beneficial for audits and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years general accounting experience.
• Payroll knowledge including preparation, balancing and taxes.
• A/R and A/P processing experience.
• CPA is highly preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite and Sage.
• Strong Excel and Office skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily banking requirements.
• Understand financial reporting and GL structure.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial reports and variance analysis.
• Assist with sales tax filings and audit prep.
• Assess internal controls and perform risk reviews.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Oversee payroll processing and compliance.
• Assist acquisitions' accounting integration.
• Improve financial controls and asset accounting.
• Support auditors with information requests.
• Monitor and improve accounting systems and procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and perform other accounting duties.
