Job summary

MyCareer+ is seeking a Senior Accountant, CPA, to manage US client accounting from Manila. You will own the close process, prepare statements, ensure US GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

You will work with US-based clients and internal teams, overseeing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while maintaining high-quality controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Big 4 accounting/public accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with financial accounting or fund accounting.
• Experience managing month-end close activities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process for assigned US clients and prepare supporting schedules.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations; review balance sheets for accuracy.
• Investigate variances and unusual transactions; deliver accurate financial statements.
• Maintain complete financial records and audit-ready documentation.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation.
• Serve as a reliable accounting partner and coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines.
