OpsArmy is seeking a Senior Accountant to own end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of clients, with hands-on QuickBooks Online (QBO), inventory and cost accounting, and transactional accounting for e-commerce or CPG businesses.

This role requires ownership of month-end close, accurate financial records, and collaboration with Controllers and Staff Accountants. You may work independently or lead engagements in a fully remote setting.

Formación

• Proven hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for day-to-day accounting and recordkeeping.
• Experience in inventory and cost accounting and related transactions.
• Strong background in e-commerce or CPG accounting, including inventory and cost considerations.
• Experience in month-end close and meeting deadlines.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and elevate issues when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Excellent organization and time-management to track open items and deadlines.
• Willingness to collaborate with Controllers and Staff Accountants.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end month-end close for an assigned client portfolio, including AP, AR, payroll-related tasks, and other accounting activities.
• Take ownership of specific accounting tasks within the close cycle to ensure timely completion.
• Record, classify, review, and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting for precise reporting.
• Apply e-commerce and CPG accounting methods to inventory and costs.
• Prepare, review, and deliver client accounting reports and financial deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and follow up on outstanding items.
• Gather missing documentation to support accurate accounting.
• Maintain clean financial records in QBO and Double.
