OpsArmy is seeking a Senior Accountant to support end-to-end accounting and month-end close for an assigned portfolio of clients in a fully remote setup. The role may require taking ownership of tasks, coordinating with clients, and ensuring accurate financial records across systems.

The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks Online skills, experience with ecommerce or CPG accounting, and a proven ability to manage deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.

Formación

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience with inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience with transactional accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting methods relevant to ecommerce or CPG businesses.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, current records.
• Ability to manage deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and proactively elevate issues.

Responsabilidades

• Support or own end-to-end month-end close for an assigned portfolio of clients, which may include AP, AR, and payroll-related tasks.
• Own specific accounting tasks within the month-end close cycle.
• Prepare and support the delivery of client accounting deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and follow up on outstanding items as needed.
• Request, organize, and follow up on missing documentation from clients.
• Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date records in accounting applications, including Double.
• Identify and elevate open items, roadblocks, and issues to the Controller in advance of deadlines.
• Support internal process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and other accounting team efforts.
• Work closely with the Controller and other team members to ensure client engagements are completed accurately and on schedule.
