Opsarmy is seeking a Senior Accountant to own end-to-end accounting and month-end close for a portfolio of clients. You will apply hands-on QBO, inventory and cost accounting, and transactional accounting for e-commerce/CPG businesses.

This fully remote role requires proactive delivery of accurate financial records, client communication, and collaboration with Controllers and Staff Accountants to ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for day-to-day accounting.
• Inventory and cost accounting experience with proper costing methods.
• Transactional accounting including recording, classification and reconciliation.
• E-commerce or CPG accounting knowledge and related inventory/cost considerations.
• Month-end close support or ownership with deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate financial record keeping.
• Independent work style with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal client communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end month-end close process for client portfolio, including AP/AR and payroll-related tasks.
• Take ownership of assigned accounting tasks with timely, accurate delivery.
• Perform transactional accounting and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting and related financial reporting.
• Apply e-commerce/CPG accounting methods to inventory and costs.
• Prepare and review client accounting reports and deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and follow up on missing documentation.
• Collaborate with Controllers and Staff Accountants to ensure quality reporting.
