Job summary

Cross Care Group is seeking a Rostering Officer based in the Philippines to coordinate staff schedules for Australian Community Care services. You will prepare and maintain rosters, respond to staffing changes, and keep workers and the care team informed.

This remote role requires strong rostering expertise, clear communication, and the ability to ensure reliable coverage during Australian daytime hours. Prior experience with Australian care-sector rostering is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least two years of rostering experience in staff scheduling or care coordination.
• Experience allocating workers to shifts and handling short-notice changes.
• Strong spoken and written English when communicating with Australian workers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate rosters in VisualCare.
• Plan ahead for coverage and identify gaps early.
• Manage day-to-day changes including cancellations and urgent replacements.
• Confirm shift arrangements with workers and follow up on responses.
• Check roster suitability considering qualifications, travel time and service arrangements.
• Maintain clear records of changes, confirmations and handovers.
• Escalate promptly when coverage cannot be arranged or issues affect service delivery.
• Identify recurring rostering problems and suggest improvements.
