Qualifications

At least four years of dedicated professional Accounting or corporate bookkeeping experience.
At least two years of experience working in a global remote environment for a North America-based company.
Experience in Real Estate Accounting (security deposits, depreciation, etc.).
Proficient in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Strong ability to handle confidential financial data with discretion.
Independent file management and strict compliance workflow capability.

Responsibilities

Reconciling bank statements, ledgers, and AP/AR on a monthly basis.
Oversee AP/AR and supervise the in-house bookkeeper; review aging reports and approve payments over thresholds.
Generate monthly property-level financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheets) and explain variances.
Apply real estate accounting practices (deposits, capital improvements, depreciation) and ensure payroll compliance.
