Job summary

hammerjack is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to maintain client accounting records, support payroll and accounts payable, and summarise bookkeeping updates for clients. You will ensure accurate records, document processes, and deliver high-quality work to multiple Australian clients.

The role offers remote work with onsite schedules on client request, flexible hybrid options, and opportunities to grow within a Fortune-affiliated team serving international clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Australian bookkeeping is a plus; knowledge of GST, activity statements, and client reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer accounting records, post transactions, and process journals.
• Process bill payments and pay runs for client approvals.
• Produce and reconcile financial reports with third-party records and bank statements.
• Assist with business activity statements and income activity statements.
• Maintain client lists and weekly/monthly/quarterly bookkeeping checklists and report status.
