Job summary

Pacific Coast Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented remote bookkeeper to support multiple US-based clients. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, payables, receivables, and reporting using QuickBooks Online.

You'll work independently with minimal supervision, collaborate via Google Drive, and adapt to various client workflows while meeting deadlines. A background with US accounting standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Online and bank/payroll reconciliations.
• Familiarity with US accounting standards for US-based clients.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Google Drive for sharing and collaboration.
• Accounting degree completed.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank reconciliations for multiple clients each month.
• Review and code accounts weekly for accurate categorization.
• Run and archive financial reports for client review.
• Maintain QuickBooks Online records for all clients.
• Participate in daily check-ins during training and onboarding.
• Manage general bookkeeping operations across client industries.
• Follow client-specific procedures and deadlines.
• Provide end-of-day summaries and flag issues for management.
