Outsourced.ph is seeking an Accountant (QuickBooks) to join our remote team supporting a growing multi-location retail business. You will handle the full accounting cycle, AP, payroll support, tax, and month-end close while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, expense coding, and vendor management.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience using QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting platform.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage recurring workloads and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Code and enter vendor invoices accurately to the appropriate accounts and locations.
• Process vendor payments on schedule and maintain organized vendor records.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with vendors as needed.
• Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and keep payables current.
• Post daily sales from store locations and e-commerce channels.
• Reconcile POS system totals and investigate variances.
• Maintain deferred revenue schedules and identify revenue recognition issues.
• Reconcile multiple bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
• Investigate discrepancies and unusual transactions.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready reconciliation workpapers.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns using location-level sales data.
• Maintain filing calendars and ensure timely submissions.
• Keep accurate records for tax filings across all locations.
• Assist with gathering and verifying payroll data.
• Post payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll liability accounts.
• Code and reconcile corporate card statements and employee expense reports.
• Maintain supporting receipts and documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and record additions.
• Post monthly depreciation entries.
• Track asset disposals and reconcile fixed asset records.
• Post routine journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and recurring entries.
• Maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close deadlines.
• Collect and organize supporting documentation.
• Build and maintain reconciliation trackers and schedules.
• Utilize formulas, pivot tables, and structured reporting formats.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with reporting and ad hoc financial analysis.
