Job summary

RemoteVA is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting tasks for a small bookkeeping practice. The role focuses on data entry, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate client records, using QuickBooks Online and MS Office.

You will help prepare financial reports and summaries, review transactions for accuracy, and follow client-specific workflows. Strong English communication and high attention to detail are essential. Remote work available from the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including debits, credits, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, transaction categorization, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized client financial records.
• Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow established bookkeeping procedures and client‑specific workflows.
