Job summary

Entrepreneur Cooperative seeks a QuickBooks Financial Controller for a fully remote, contractor role with a US-based luxury interior design firm. You will own the GL, oversee monthly close, and lead the transition to in-house accounting, reporting to the CFO.

You’ll manage AP/AR teams, ensure strong controls, and deliver timely financial statements while collaborating across time zones in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QuickBooks expertise with deep configuration and implementations.
• Experience owning General Ledger, monthly close, and reconciliations.
• Strong English proficiency (C1/C2) and ability to work with US hours.
• Experience in professional services or design industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize QuickBooks for reporting and structure.
• Lead QuickBooks configuration and implementation initiatives.
• Transition General Ledger from external firm to in-house function.
• Maintain, reconcile, and close books monthly.
• Oversee AP/AR teams and perform payroll reviews.
• Provide accurate financial statements and P&L.
