Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support day-to-day procurement for marine spare parts. You will manage RFQs, source parts, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain meticulous ERP records in a fast-paced, remote setting.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy while learning our ERP and workflows.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of purchasing experience with supplier coordination.
• Experience processing RFQs and comparing supplier quotations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication with international suppliers.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail in data entry and product information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to learn ERP systems quickly.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Process RFQs and source spare parts, equipment, and materials based on purchasing requirements.
• Review, compare and follow up supplier quotations considering pricing, availability, specs, and lead times.
• Communicate with local and international suppliers to obtain quotations and clarify requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor purchasing orders, expediting and delivery tracking.
• Proactively follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and delays.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data within ERP system.
• Enter purchasing information accurately and keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to support daily purchasing needs.
• Manage multiple RFQs and supplier communications while meeting deadlines.
• Identify discrepancies or delays and escalate to the appropriate team.
• Learn and effectively use purchasing systems and workflows.
