Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage multiple property locations and maintain accurate financial records for a growing portfolio of manufactured housing communities. You will perform bank reconciliations, input bills, and review statements to ensure accuracy while coordinating with remote teams.

The role involves handling 100+ locations, working independently in a remote setup, and leveraging property management software.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of bookkeeping experience (above junior level).
• Experience with property management or real estate accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with Rent Manager is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple property locations.
• Download and input bills into the property management software system.
• Handle utility bills that require separate processing and entry.
• Review financial statements and reports for accuracy.
• Prepare and send financial documents up the chain for management review.
• Maintain accurate books for 100+ separate property locations.
• Support the financial operations of manufactured housing communities.
