Job summary

TOA Global is seeking a detail-oriented US Property Accountant to manage the financial operations of a portfolio of conventional multifamily properties. This fully remote role handles GL, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close, working with property management teams and owners.

Applicants should have 3+ years of accounting experience, hands-on exposure to real estate accounting software like Yardi, RealPage, MRI, or AppFolio, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
• Strong Excel skills and financial analysis ability.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger for multifamily properties and perform month-end close.
• Process A/P and A/R, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting.
• Collaborate with property managers and owners to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Support 1099 compliance and audit requests as needed.
