Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Philippines-based Project Coordinator (Commercial Joinery) to support Australian clients on remote, independent-contractor engagements. You will read and manage joinery project drawings, coordinate with managers and suppliers, and maintain comprehensive trackers and reports to ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires strong English communication, precise documentation, and the ability to juggle multiple live projects while aligning with Australian business

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or related roles.
• Experience with Australian construction projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and project documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects with accuracy and speed.
• Excellent written and spoken English for communication with Australian stakeholders.
• Skilled reading of architectural drawings, floor plans, joinery elevations, sections and specs.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Bluebeam; maintain trackers and documents.
• Attention to detail and strong follow-up discipline.
• Self-managed and reliable with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read and review construction drawings, architectural plans and joinery documentation to track project scope.
• Maintain registers and trackers for drawings, RFIs, procurement and production.
• Track packages by building, apartment, area and item with status updates.
• Record meeting minutes and convert to clear action items with owners and due dates.
• Follow up with suppliers, contractors and clients to obtain responses and documents.
• Prepare weekly project status reports highlighting progress, risks and deadlines.
• Draft professional emails to Australian suppliers and clients in strong Australian English.
• Call suppliers/clients as needed to clarify information and confirm dates.
• Assist with procurement administration and document control.
