Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Philippines-based Estimator (Joinery and Cabinet) to prepare comprehensive tender submissions for commercial joinery projects. You will quantify scope for kitchens, vanities, wardrobes and more, ensuring clear assumptions and well-structured proposals for Australian clients.

The role is offered as an independent contractor engagement with remote work, aligned to AU business hours, and requires strong joinery knowledge, reading drawings and professional communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience in joinery, cabinetry or related field.
• Experience preparing complete joinery proposals.
• Australian projects experience preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to read construction drawings and joinery documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, architectural drawings and joinery drawings to understand the full joinery package.
• Quantify joinery and cabinetry scope for kitchens, vanities, wardrobes and related elements.
• Prepare complete proposals with scope, pricing, inclusions, exclusions and assumptions.
• Identify missing information, unclear specifications and need for builder clarification before pricing.
• Prepare RFIs and clarification schedules for review before issue.
• Source, compare and track supplier pricing for hardware, stone, appliances and other components.
• Build and maintain estimating templates, rate libraries and pricing benchmarks.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve competitiveness while meeting outcomes.
• Prepare tender handover information for project delivery.
