Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant for a Work-From-Home role to manage financial activities for development projects, including draw packages, reconciliations, and cost recording.

The role involves collaboration with lenders, title companies, and contractors, ensuring accurate funding, payments, and comprehensive project reporting throughout the lifecycle. Responsibilities include monthly project reviews, audit support, maintaining records, and contributing to process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience; construction, project, development, or real estate accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, submits, and records construction and development draw requests per lender requirements.
• Reconciles draw activity and related balance sheet accounts for accurate reporting.
• Reviews project income statements, job cost reports, and GL activity for accuracy.
• Processes wire transfers and project-related disbursements.
• Reviews payment applications, invoices, lien waivers, and supporting docs for projects.
• Prepares monthly project and property financial reviews, analyzes activity, funding status, and variances.
• Maintains project accounting records and documentation through lifecycle.
• Collaborates with lenders, title companies, contractors, and internal partners on funding and reporting.
• Assists with audits by preparing schedules and responding to information requests.
• Supports process improvements and special projects.
