• Strong attention to detail; final review before work leaves the department.
• Comfortable communicating with colleagues and vendors during service failures (late deliveries, disputes).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage a high volume of open items during peak periods.
• Sound judgment on independent handling vs escalation.

Responsibilities

• Own first-line response on delivery issues, run tool output, chase carriers, and keep sites updated.
• Monitor deliveries and act on automated flags for late trucks and discrepancies.
• Serve as first contact for schools and sites during delivery problems and resolve routine issues with vendors.
• Escalate to Procurement Specialist for money owed back to district or broad patterns of non-performance.
• Maintain vendor documentation, records, and weekly reports; support special projects.
