Job summary

Amihan Solutions seeks an experienced HR & Employee Relations Consultant on a part-time, retainer basis to mentor our HR team and strengthen contracts, discipline, and compliance under Philippine labor law. You will work hands-on with our HR team and client entities, handling live cases and guiding practical, compliant solutions while ensuring thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of HR employee/labor relations experience in the Philippines.
• Strong knowledge of the Labor Code of the Philippines Arts. 296–299 and DOLE procedures.
• Experience advising SMEs, recruitment agencies, or HR outsourcing operations.
• Experience handling end-to-end disciplinary processes and employee separations.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into plain-language guidance for teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide case consultation on real disciplinary and employee-relations matters as they arise.
• Attend bi-monthly meetings to guide and review overhauling all documents related to employee relations.
• Review and sign off on standardized notice templates covering Just Causes (Arts. 296–299) and related notices.
• Review employment contracts, company policies, and handbook provisions from an ER and labor-law perspective.
• Advise on resignations-in-lieu of termination, garden leave, and 30-day notice applicability.
• Provide on-call guidance for HR setup and compliance as new client PH operations establish.
• Mentor Amihan’s HR & Recruitment team on ER fundamentals and case handling.
• Keep Amihan informed of DOLE issuances and Labor Code developments.
• Flag compliance risks across Amihan and client entities.
