Job summary

MediSolution is hiring a Patient Services Representative to support Cebu or CDO clients. The role focuses on understanding patient needs, addressing inquiries, and coordinating information between patients, healthcare providers, and billing staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to handle confidential information, and experience in a medical or call-center environment. This is a fully remote position with competitive employee benefits and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Preferably College Graduate or at least 2 years in college.
• Degrees and Courses related to Medical Field is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in the use of email.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Organized, able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Must be flexible with schedule.
• At least 1 year call center experience related to Medical Accounts and Programs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls according to procedure and Departmental standards.
• Assist patients in their queries and concerns.
• Collect patients' outstanding balance.
• Assist third party entities, e.g., insurance, in their queries regarding patients' accounts.
• Places outbound collection calls according to procedure and Departmental standards.
• Collect patients' outstanding balance.
• Assist patients in their billing queries and concerns.
• Ensures HIPAA guidelines are respected by safeguarding protected health information in the capacity of the position's duties and responsibilities.
