Sourcefit Philippines, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Eligibility Registration Specialist to verify insurance coverage, ensure authorizations, and maintain accurate documentation for timely patient care.

This remote role follows US holidays and standard Philippine hours, supporting multiple payers including Aetna, Cigna, and Medicare. The position requires 2–3 years in healthcare intake/verification, familiarity with RCM systems, and strong communication skills to liaise with insurers

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare industry experience in intake/verification roles.
• Experience in Orthopedic, Spine Surgery, and Pain Management a plus.
• Understanding of different types of insurance coverages and claims including Health, Workers' Comp, and Auto.
• Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems, Practice Management Systems (PMS), and tools.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain understanding of patient insurance eligibility and benefits across payers.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits by contacting insurers and reviewing payer portals.
• Confirm deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximums.
• Generate and communicate Estimates of Patient Financial Responsibility to patients promptly.
• Secure approvals from insurance carriers before procedures or treatments.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and errors by coordinating with providers and teams.
• Maintain organized records of verification activities and communications.
• Prepare and update patient files while ensuring HIPAA compliance and payer policies.
• Develop broad knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology, billing procedures, and codes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
