Job summary

PuzzleHR is seeking an Employee Onboarding Specialist to design, implement, and optimize onboarding for clients’ employees in a remote setup. The role demands systems thinking, HR compliance knowledge, and the ability to tailor onboarding workflows across multiple systems.

You will work with processes across Process Street, HRIS, ATS, payroll, and benefits platforms, coordinating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR onboarding or related roles (US-focused) preferred.
• Experience onboarding remote or multi-state teams.
• Familiarity with HR outsourcing, PEO, or US clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/psych/business preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized onboarding support to new hires and clients.
• Configure and optimize onboarding workflows in Process Street and other tools.
• Ensure compliance with I-9, E-Verify, and background checks.
• Maintain accurate employee data across HRIS, ATS, payroll, and benefits.
• Coordinate onboarding across HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for onboarding workflows.
• Audit client onboarding documents for accuracy and compliance.
