Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking a Finance Support Specialist to join a night shift with remote work options. You will support CAMs and a portfolio of accounts, handle inquiries on work orders and ARC-related tasks, and collaborate on administrative duties such as mailers with SouthData.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a team. Prior accounting software experience is required and Australian tax familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero).
• Familiarity with Australian tax regulations and financial reporting standards is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supports a specified group of CAMs (2-3) and a portfolio of accounts.
• Receive customer phone calls and answer questions about work orders, ARC requests, or Association responsibilities.
• Partner with CAM on administrative tasks such as processing community-wide mailers with SouthData.
• Manage follow-up and closing of work order tickets.
• Weekly follow-up on standard work orders with Service Providers; note progress and close when completed.
• Receive, process and manage 4041 Forms and other address change requests.
• Review open compliance items and prepare Architectural Review Applications (ARC) for Board evaluation.
• Process approval/denial of ARC applications, send to homeowners, and file accordingly.
