Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Cash Application Analyst II for a remote night-shift role. You will process and audit high-volume payments, perform complex reconciliations, and collaborate with Treasury, Billing, and Finance to resolve cash flow issues.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cash applications or AR, advanced Excel skills, and ERP experience with SOX controls. This position offers strong benefits and career growth in a global services environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of dedicated experience in cash applications, A/R, or complex financial accounting operations.
Deep expertise in A/R mechanics, double-entry ledger balancing, short-pay resolution, and ledger auditing.
Proven MS Excel skills: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, nested formulas, large data handling.
Strong problem-solving abilities to research unstructured data and correct ledgers autonomously.
Experience with ERP platforms and SOX compliance controls.

Responsibilities

Process, apply, and audit high-volume payments across multiple gateways and remittance files.
Analyze payment histories, contracts, and invoices to resolve unapplied cash and ledger variances.
Collaborate with Treasury, Billing, Collections, and Finance to fix payment exceptions.
Identify workflow bottlenecks and support system upgrades or UAT testing; suggest automation options.
Maintain SOPs, support month-end close, and monitor team queues for governance.
Provide guidance and training to junior Cash Applications Analysts.
