Job summary

Hunt St is seeking a Philippines-based Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the client’s network infrastructure. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and performance across wired and wireless environments.

You will work directly with the client as an independent contractor, aligning with AU business hours (approx. 7 AM - 3 PM AEST). Experience with MikroTik RouterOS, enterprise Wi‑Fi, and cloud-managed controllers is essential.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification or equivalent practical networking competency.
• 3+ years of experience in network administration, network support, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience configuring MikroTik RouterOS devices and routing architectures.
• Strong understanding of wireless networking principles and enterprise Wi-Fi deployment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments and switching hardware.
• Manage enterprise wireless networks and cloud-based controllers.
• Configure MikroTik routers, VPNs, and routing architectures.
• Monitor network performance and diagnose issues to ensure high availability.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, backups, and change logs.
• Provide end user support and handle tickets.
• Collaborate with vendors on troubleshooting and upgrades.
