Job summary

ALC Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to lead IT infrastructure operations in Makati. You will supervise network staff, manage daily LAN, WAN, WLAN and internet connectivity, and ensure reliable uptime and security.

Responsibilities include supervising routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and related devices; administering TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs; monitoring performance and coordinating with ISPs and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure.
• Certifications in network, security or server administration are a plus.
• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet or equivalent certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise network and IT support personnel with task assignment and guidance.
• Oversee LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity operations.
• Lead installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and network equipment.
• Manage TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, VLANs, IP addressing, routing.
• Monitor network performance, uptime, and outages; resolve complex issues.
• Oversee Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, user accounts and permissions.
• Ensure security monitoring, backups, and patch management.

About the role

This is a network administration and IT infrastructure leadership position responsible for supervising network and IT support personnel, overseeing daily operations of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity, and ensuring the overall reliability, security, availability, and efficient operation of network infrastructure with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise network and IT support personnel, including task assignment, work monitoring, technical guidance, and timely resolution of issues
• Oversee the daily operation, administration, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity
• Lead the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, access points, firewalls, servers, and other network equipment
• Manage TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, VLANs, IP addressing, subnetting, and routing to maintain reliable network connectivity
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth, device status, and availability, and ensure outages and complex network issues are promptly resolved
• Supervise Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, access permissions, and other infrastructure technologies
• Oversee firewalls, VPNs, access controls, security monitoring, and incident response to protect company systems and information
• Ensure regular backups, recovery procedures, security patches, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance are properly performed
• Plan and coordinate network upgrades, migrations, equipment installations, and IT infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, contractors, and other IT teams for technical support, procurement, and service-related concerns

About you

• At least 3-5 years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure, including implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, security, and vendor coordination
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Relevant training or certifications in network, security or server administration
• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, Fortinet or equivalent certifications are an advantage
