Job summary

D2B is seeking a Settlements Officer to manage end-to-end loan settlement processes remotely for Australian lending clients. You will liaise with lenders and solicitors, ensure compliance, and keep clients informed throughout the settlement journey.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in settlements or loan processing, familiarity with PEXA and lender portals, and experience with CRM and mortgage platforms. This is a full-time remote position aligned with Australian hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in settlements or loan processing within the Australian mortgage industry.
• Knowledge of the Australian mortgage lifecycle, including PEXA and lender portals.
• Familiarity with Australian credit legislation and privacy requirements.
• Experience with CRM tools and mortgage processing platforms.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Settlement Management: coordinate final stages from approval to settlement and post-settlement filing.
• Lender & Solicitor Liaison: primary contact for banks, solicitors, and conveyancers to ensure documentation is correct and deadlines met.
• Compliance & Data Integrity: review loan offers for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Client Communication: provide proactive updates on settlement status and address client concerns.
• Problem Resolution: identify and resolve bottlenecks to prevent delays.
• Pipeline Tracking: maintain CRM with active applications and avoid delays.
• Post-Settlement Support: manage the "thank you" process and compliance requirements.
