Qualifications

• 2-3 years in mortgage/financial services, credit analysis or underwriting.
• Proficiency in mortgage software and financial analysis tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling.
• Familiarity with credit reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess creditworthiness and identify risks.
• Ability to interpret complex financial statements and credit reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess borrower’s financial statements and credit data to determine creditworthiness.
• Prepare paperwork for mortgage loan applications and collect necessary documents.
• Review mortgage disclosures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with real estate agents to explain loan requirements.
• Maintain current records and handle sensitive information securely.
• Present progress reports and updated financial data to the mortgage team for a successful close.
