Qualifications

• Experience in PR/media relations or journalism.
• Strong English writing and research skills.
• Proven ability to manage a busy inbox and coordinate schedules across time zones.
• Resourcefulness: refine searches and assess results without over-specification.
• Comfort using AI and automation with independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor reporter requests, podcasts and media opportunities; identify strong matches for each client.
• Research shows, journalists and outlets, trying different search approaches when initial results are limited.
• Review contacts for relevance before building lists.
• Develop client-specific angles and draft pitches tailored to the outlet or show, in collaboration with the agency founder.
• Manage the shared media inbox: read conversations, prepare replies and move hosts toward bookings.
• Review and correct automated summaries and email drafts; do not rely on the system's suggested responses.
• Verify client availability, proposed dates, time zones and calendar invitations before scheduling; flag missing or conflicting information.
• Track pitches, replies and bookings accurately, and communicate priorities or blockers clearly.
