Job summary

DOXA Talent is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to support bookkeeping for a US client portfolio while managing multiple priorities and maintaining top quality and customer service standards.

Based in the Philippines with remote work, you will perform recurring bookkeeping, keep accounting records, and prepare schedules for clients. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Has experience in bookkeeping.
• Exposure in reconciliation; proficient in Microsoft Excel; detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine accounting procedures such as bank, credit card, payroll account reconciliations, A/R, A/P, and other functions for clients.
• Communicate open items or anomalies to Staff Accountants and follow up until resolved.
• Examine bank transactions and flag unknown items to the accountant or lead.
• Prepare journal entries and document reconciliation items in work papers.
• Contribute to other department and team projects as needed, and perform other duties as required.
