MicroSourcing is seeking a Junior Accountant to support hotel accounting operations from home in the Philippines. The role involves accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP-compliant practices, with an emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2 years in hotel accounting or related field, proficiency with MS Word/Excel, strong math, and English fluency.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) required.
• Minimum of two years in hotel accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP.

Mansioni

• Maintain confidentiality and handle accounting and HR matters with discretion.
• Review and verify accounts payable/receivable postings and daily income reports.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly statements and financial reports for management review.
• Manage AP/AR duties including deposits, invoices, and cash flow monitoring.
• Perform month-end closing procedures and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare tax reconciliations, payments, and reports; assist with audits.
