Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our work-from-home team in the Philippines. You will support month-end close, financial reporting, payroll administration, and budgeting, ensuring accurate records and strong internal controls.

Key duties include accounts payable processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing expense reports and supporting documentation preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Sage is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations & AP: process vendor invoices, reconcile, and monitor records.
• Month-End Close & Reporting: assist close activities and prepare journal entries.
• Cash Reporting: maintain cash flow reporting and forecasts.
• Payroll Support: assist with payroll inputs and reconciliations.
• Budget & Process Improvement: support budgeting and ERP transition efforts.
