Job summary

Boomering is seeking a Junior Accountant in Angeles City, Philippines, working remotely from home on a permanent full-time basis. The role runs Monday–Friday with UAE time shifts and a salary range of Php 55,000–70,000 monthly. You will manage supplier invoices, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years accounting experience, expert Xero proficiency, and strong English communication. Excel skills and independence to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping or similar finance role.
• Expert-level Xero experience is essential.
• Strong experience with invoice processing and bank reconciliations.
• Experience preparing or setting up supplier payments.
• Knowledge of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently in Xero.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and set up payments for approval.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
• Support the month-end close process as required.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journals where required.
• Maintain supporting documentation for financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring finance processes.
• Support improvements to existing Xero workflows and accounting procedures.
• Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting and reporting requirements.
