Job summary

ScalableOS is hiring a Level 1 Technician to be the frontline of our MSP IT support team. You will maintain client IT environments, resolve technical issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

The role involves long-term work-from-home arrangements and permanent night shifts, focusing on remote diagnostics, data integrity, and secure systems for clients in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of IT principles and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Experience with operating systems, office software, and basic network configurations.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Team player mentality and willingness to share knowledge in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients and end-users.
• Assist with password resets and guide users through recovery steps for various systems.
• Troubleshoot printer connectivity, manage print queues, and replace toner as needed.
• Set up and troubleshoot email accounts across Outlook, Gmail, and mobile devices.
• Install software and ensure updates; troubleshoot post-install issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and configure devices accordingly.
• Address basic hardware issues and perform simple upgrades.
• Use remote desktop tools to diagnose and resolve issues for users.
• Identify and mitigate security threats to keep systems safe.
• Assist users with data backup and file recovery to ensure integrity and availability.
• Document troubleshooting steps and maintain records of interactions and resolutions.
• Provide basic training and tips to optimize software usage.
• Engage with clients to communicate resolution progress clearly.
