Job summary

GoTeam is hiring for an IT Operations Support Specialist to serve as an embedded part of our internal IT team. The role focuses on Tier 1 support, ticket ownership, and knowledge management to streamline issue resolution and create scalable SOPs across North America.

The ideal candidate will document solutions, manage identity and access requests, and collaborate with MSPs and vendors. Night shift availability is required for this remote role in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, or IT operations.
• Solid troubleshooting skills across Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, and identity and access management.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, networking basics, VPNs, endpoint security, and standard business hardware.
• Experience using IT ticketing, asset management, and knowledge management systems.
• Strong technical writing skills — able to turn a resolved issue into a clear, repeatable procedure.
• Experience working with MSPs, multiple vendors, or multi-location organizations.
• Availability to work night shift: 11:00 PM–8:00 AM, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1 support and ticket ownership: triage, categorize, progress, and resolve or escalate with context.
• Monitor the IT support queue and perform initial troubleshooting across Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, printers, peripherals, and apps.
• Resolve documented Tier 1 issues independently; escalate with complete context to minimize senior involvement.
• Manage identity and access requests — onboarding, offboarding, MFA, group memberships, and license assignments.
• Asset management and IT purchasing: maintain records and coordinate procurement and logistics.
• Coordinate IT purchasing — quotes, approvals, orders, equipment shipments, returns, and warranties with approved vendors.
• Vendor and MSP coordination: liaise with vendors to ensure escalations are well-packaged and followed through.
