Job summary

Veson Nautical is seeking a Service Desk Operator (Day Shift) based in the Philippines. You will provide technical support via phone, email, and web sessions, manage daily requests in our bug tracking system, and collaborate with software analysts to fulfill client requests.

You will handle incident triage, initial troubleshooting, and timely communication with users while working from home and potentially shifting into evening hours.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems or service desk software.
• Prior experience in customer service or help desk is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Receive, process and triage incoming support requests and ensure accurate administration.
• Provide initial diagnosis, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and escalate when needed.
• Keep users informed about status and resolution progress, and contribute to process improvements.
