Job summary

RunRemote is searching for an Inventory Operations Coordinator for a fast-paced Australian e-commerce business. This 100% remote role reports to the Australian team and focuses on managing backorders, supplier follow-ups, stock information, and purchase orders to keep operations moving smoothly.

You'll excel at data handling, Excel/Sheets work, and cross-functional collaboration across buying, logistics, and inventory teams. If you're highly organized and proactive, this is the role for you.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics, supply chain, or inventory operations.
• Experience with stock availability, POs, backorders, supplier ETAs.
• Excellent Excel/Sheets skills for high-volume data.
• Strong English communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and follow up to close actions.
• Willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume backorders and supplier follow-ups to keep information current.
• Identify discontinued or unavailable products and update systems accordingly.
• Maintain accurate inventory data across internal systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers via shared inboxes and reconcile stock reports.
• Track outstanding stock and escalate issues when needed.
• Support buyers and cross-team collaboration to improve processes.
