Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance verification and prior authorizations.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Professional verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits with commercial insurance and Medicaid.
• Initiate and process prior authorizations; use payer portals to obtain requirements and status.
• Review intake documentation for completeness and coordinate with front-desk VMA.
• Update patient charts in AdvancedMD and ensure accuracy of records.
• Maintain backlog and manage cases to resolution with clear documentation.
