Qualifications

• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Experience with US commercial insurance plans and Medicaid.
• Ability to communicate with insurers and use payer portals.
• Knowledge of healthcare eligibility workflows and HIPAA.
• Experience using an EHR or practice-management system (e.g., AdvancedMD).
• Strong documentation and data-entry skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits with plans and Medicaid.
• Review payer data and document results in AdvancedMD.
• Identify missing information that blocks enrollment.
• Initiate and process prior authorizations per requirements.
• Communicate with insurers and track authorization status.
• Follow up on pending authorizations to resolution.
• Support patient intake and enrollment with accurate data.
• Prepare patient charts and ensure complete documentation.
