The role emphasizes collections activity, strict adherence to trading terms, and thorough note-keeping and escalation procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts, issuing initial emails, performing multi-day follow-ups, contacting agents, and maintaining audit trails.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in debtors or collections.
• Experience following structured collections workflows and escalation timeframes.
• Strong telephone and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and calendar-management abilities.
• Proficient Excel for reports and trackers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor agent accounts against trading terms and identify overdue amounts.
• Issue initial email when accounts fall outside terms.
• Complete three-day follow-up with email template and outbound call if no response.
• Complete seven-day follow-up and final cancellation notice if unresolved.
• Contact selling agents and customers by phone and email to determine payment status and commitments.
• Maintain notes, correspondence and audit trails for each action.
• Identify unpaid applications and provide cancellations team with audit trail.
• Liaise with Accounts Receivable to confirm payments without receiving funds.
• Prepare and pay weekly roadside assistance reports.
• Calculate value for each roadside cancellation and submit reports to third party.
• Process weekly payments for roadside activity according to process.
• Maintain debtor trackers, follow-up schedules and reporting; assist with cross-training duties.
• Other position-level duties as they arise.
