Job summary

LAdmins seeks an HR Generalist to keep the people side of our U.S. operations running smoothly. You’ll own onboarding, support payroll, and handle everyday HR tasks to help employees feel supported from day one.

Qualifications

• 1+ year HR experience for U.S. employees in a U.S. state (e.g., CA, NY, TX, FL).
• Hands-on onboarding including I-9 and E-Verify.
• Working knowledge of U.S. payroll processes and platforms (ADP, Paychex, Gusto).
• Understanding of FLSA, FMLA and state wage/leave/reporting requirements.
• Experience with HRIS and with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and spoken English for daily collaboration with a U.S. team.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and offboarding for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.
• Prepare and review payroll inputs, track hours, PTO, and deductions.
• Apply federal and state employment requirements, flag risks early.
• Keep employee records accurate and confidential, maintain HRIS data.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR questions, policies, and benefits.
• Assist with policy updates, handbook maintenance, and benefits administration.
